|  As a form of control, the Sound ninja Orochimaru will place cursed seals on those he wishes to grant more power. Orochimaru developed the enzyme to create the cursed seal from a young man named Juugo who sought help from him. Juugo's body naturally entered into this "Level 1" and "Level 2" state, which caused him to lose control and enter a state of powerful blood lust. Orochimaru experimented with this ability and developed a way to grant this power to other normal ninja. Once the seal is placed on a ninja the chance of surviving is one in ten.(info from leafninja.com)

|  [A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The ability to summon more advanced animals largely depends upon the amount of chakra the ninja can muster to perform the jutsu. |  The countries and villages of the world of Naruto are only as strong as the clans which inhabit it. Throughout the world unique jutsu abilities are passed down from generation to generation. Some abilities are passed down through genetics (bloodline), while others are skills and abilities only known to those in the clan. You must be at least jonin level before starting your own clan or bloodline. Youc can find the list of clans here.

|  The water village hidden in the mist. The place from which the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist hail (including Zabuza Momochi and Kisame Hoshigaki).It is stated that the village has a strong and ruthless military that could not be easily defeated. The village is located in the center of huge lake surrounded by a forest of trees and mist. It is very easy to get lost in the area. They used to practice a barbaric graduation ritual which involved students fighting one on one to the death in order to graduate. Those who successfully killed students moved on and graduated, earning the village the title of, Village Hidden in the bloody mist. Zabuza is infamous for wiping out his entire academy. Although, those practices are no longer performed, the ninja are still just as strict and there are tales of remote academies that still carry on the ritual. The village leader is the Mizukage

The ninja from this village seem to specialize in Wind Release techniques and the Puppet Technique. As opposed to the village of the Hidden Leaf, shinobi residing within the Sand village heavily believe that the accomplishment of mission predominates the lives of the ninja trying to accomplish it. | |  The "Red sand" is a town in the wind country that is pretty isolated. The sands there are said to be red because the deadly poisonous excretions that come out of the thousands of scorpions, leak into the sand and alters the color. Not many people live here because of the scorpions but the people already living there will tell you that the scorpions don't attack the people of the sand. They only attack intruders and one drop of their poison could kill at least 10 full grown men. It's the perfect natural defense and the poisons are also perfect for offense which is part of the reason why Kugutsu no jutsu (The art of puppet mastering) originated here. Ninja wanting to learn the art of Kugutsu no jutsu, come here.
